TWICE (트와이스) is a nine-member girl group under JYP Entertainment. Formed through the reality show SIXTEEN, they debuted on October 20, 2015 with the mini album The Story Begins. The group is composed of nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu.

On October 7, 2015, JYP launched the group's official website and announced on social media that the group would debut with the mini album The Story Begins with "Like Ooh-Ahh" as the title track. On October 20, the album and the song's music video were released online and through the Naver "V LIVE" App. The group held their debut showcase the same day, where they performed "Like Ooh-Ahh" along with dance tracks "Must Be Crazy" and "Do It Again". The title track's music video hit 50 million views within five months of their debut and became the most-viewed debut music video for any K-pop group, later becoming one of the first K-pop groups to have their debut music video pass 100 million views.

On April 25, 2016, their second mini album Page Two was released. It contains a total of seven songs including the title track "Cheer Up" and "I'm Gonna Be A Star" which serves as the theme song of SIXTEEN. TWICE won their first music program award on May 5, 2016, on M! Countdown, exactly one year after the initial airing of SIXTEEN.

After an hour of its released, they achieved an All-Kill by topping on all of Korea's major music charts for five days. On November 17, "Cheer Up" became TWICE's second music video to reach 100 million views.

On January 3, 2017, "TT" became TWICE's third music video to hit 100 million views, becoming the fastest K-pop group music video to do so and breaking its own record with "Cheer Up".
It was revealed on January 10 that TWICE would be holding their first solo concert titled TWICE 1st Tour: TWICELAND The Opening with the first stop held at SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul from February 17 and 19, as the first leg of their world tour. On January 25, it was announced that Bangkok would be second leg of their tour. The venue would be Thunder Dome, Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, Thailand on April 8. The following day, it was announced that Singapore would be the third leg in the world tour. It was going to be held in The Star Theatre, The Star Performing Arts Centre, Singapore City, Singapore on April 29.
On January 18, JYPE announced that TWICE were going to be making a comeback and releasing a special album titled TWICEcoaster: Lane 2. Later on February 2, it was announced that the album would come out on February 20, and the title song for album would be "Knock Knock". On February 12, the track list and the album cover was released. The album and title track's music video was released online on February 20 at midnight. An hour after release, the group achieved the top spot on all eight of Korea’s major real-time music charts, grabbing an All-Kill.
On February 8, TWICE opened their official Japanese website and Twitter account. It was announced on February 24 that the group would debut in Japan on June 28, 2017 by releasing the album #TWICE, which includes Japanese versions of their first three title tracks.

In early September, TWICE was spotted filming a music video in Canada which JYPE confirmed on the 7th. Their agency announced on the 25th that the group was prepping for a comeback in late October. It was later revealed on October 16 that the group would be releasing their first album titled Twicetagram on the 30th with "Likey" as the title track.
The group released their first Japanese single "One More Time" on October 18. The single became the biggest first-day sales and fastest-selling album by a Korean girl group in the country. The single was later certified Platinum by RIAJ after selling over 250,000 copies.
On November 25, the group announced during a V Live that Twicetagram would have a repackage. The album titled Merry & Happy was released on December 11 with "Heart Shaker" as the title track.

On February 7, TWICE released their second Japanese single "Candy Pop".
On February 26, it was revealed the group would be aiming for a Korean comeback in early April with JYPE still discussing the exact date.[3] The first teaser for their fifth mini album titled What is Love? was released on March 25.[4] The album was subsequently released on April 9, 2018.
On May 16, TWICE's third Japanese single, "Wake Me Up" was released. Two days later, TWICE's 2nd tour, TWICE 2nd Tour: TWICELAND Zone 2: Fantasy Park began in Seoul.
Twice performed a cover of The Jackson 5's song "I Want You Back" as a OST for a Japanese film called Sensei Kunshu; the song and its music video was released on June 15. On June 26, another music video with the cast of the film was released.

On July 9, their second special album, Summer Nights, was released with "Dance the Night Away" serving as the title track.
On September 12, the group released their first Japanese full-length album BDZ including all Japanese singles tracks released after #TWICE and five new tracks. After the release of the album, on September 29, their first Japanese arena tour, TWICE 1st Arena Tour 2018 "BDZ", began in Chiba, Japan.
On October 22, "Stay By My Side" was released on digital platforms. It was featured on the repackage of BDZ as the title track. On November 5, they released their sixth mini album Yes or Yes followed by the third special album by the group, The Year of "Yes", released on December 12, 2018. On December 26, BDZ -Repackage- was released on digital platforms.

On March 6, they released their second Japanese best album #TWICE2. It was also certified platinum from the RIAJ.
TWICE made history as the first female K-pop girl group to hold a Japanese dome tour, named TWICE Dome Tour 2019 "#Dreamday", with a total audience of 220,000 during five shows in Osaka, Tokyo and Nagoya was held in March and April 2019.
On April 22, they released their seventh mini album Fancy You. The music video of "Fancy", which garnered over 42.1 million views in a single day, also reached the seventh position in the list of YouTube's biggest debuts during the first 24 hours. The release of Fancy You made TWICE the best-selling Korean girl group of all time with a total of 3,750,000 copies sold from their twelve Korean releases, surpassing the twenty-year-old record of S.E.S.. TWICE has also sold over approximately six million albums worldwide.

The group began their TWICE World Tour 2019 'TWICELIGHTS' with their first concert taking place on May 25 in Seoul.
On June 12, TWICE released both "Happy Happy" and "Breakthrough" singles digitally alongside with their accompanying music videos.
On July 11, JYPE announced that Mina would not be participating in their world tour from the Singapore stop onwards due to health reasons regarding sudden extreme anxiety and insecurity towards performing on stage.[5]
On July 17, the group announced the addition of a Japanese leg to their world tour, scheduled for 12 concerts in seven cities from October to February of next year.[6] On the same day, "Happy Happy" was released physically while "Breakthrough" was released the following week on July 24. Both singles were certified Platinum by RIAJ on August 9.[7]
On August 8, news outlet SPOTV News reported that TWICE would be filming their comeback music video that week. JYPE confirmed the group was preparing for their comeback but the exact date had not yet been finalized.[8] They released their eighth mini album Feel Special on September 23.
On September 6, TWICE announced that they will be releasing their second Japanese album &TWICE on November 20 with "Fake & True" as the album's title track.[9]

On February 5, TWICE released a repackage to &TWICE called &TWICE -Repackage-. The repackage featured a new song called "Swing" and a different version of the "Fake and True" MV, titled "The Truth Game", which was not uploaded online and was only featured as track 1 on the limited edition DVD.
On June 1, TWICE released their ninth mini album More & More, with seven tracks, including the title track "More & More". The album was released in three editions; A,B, and C. Prior to the album's release, on May 29, merchandise including T-shirts, a bucket hat and a keychain were added to the group's shop, to which more merchandise was later added on May 31.
On July 8, TWICE released their sixth Japanese single, "Fanfare". The single has four editions, a regular CD-only version, 2 CD+DVD versions, and a fan club exclusive CD only version. The B-side to the single was the Japanese version of "More & More".[10]
On July 17, the group announced their third Japanese best album, #TWICE3, which was released on September 16.
On August 5, it was reported that TWICE would be making a comeback in October. JYPE responded that the group is working on a new album and would announce details on the comeback schedule once they were confirmed.[11] On September 25, their comeback date was confirmed to be on October 26.[12] At midnight on October 1, the group revealed a timeline titled "TWICE of October" with the celebrations of their 5th debut anniversary and the promotional period of their second full album.[13] On October 7, it was revealed that the group's second full album, to be released on October 26, would be titled Eyes Wide Open.[13]
On October 17, 2020, JYPE announced that Jeongyeon would be sitting out of promotions for Eyes Wide Open due to experiencing psychological anxiousness. She would take time to have "sufficient rest and absolute stability, accompanied by professional medical measures".[14] On December 18, the group released their first Korean digital single, "Cry For Me", as a gift for their fans and as a pre-release single for their new album, after first performing the track at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards on December 6th. On January 28, TWICE announced their first Japan online concert "TWICE in Wonderland", held on March 6, through a new experience live developed by NTT Docomo. The group released their eighth Japanese single "Kura Kura" on May 12.
On April 19, it was reported by Star News that TWICE would be making a full group comeback in June and were currently filming their music video in Jeju Island. JYPE confirmed the news later and explained that a detailed schedule of their comeback would be released soon.[16] On May 3 at midnight, it was confirmed that the group would be coming back with their 10th mini album Taste of Love on June 9 and 11.[17]
On May 19, the group announced their third Japanese studio album, Perfect World, which was released on July 28.[18]
On June 25, TWICE announced that they would be releasing their first full English digital single in September.[19] Teaser images were released on August 2, 4, and 6 with the latter teaser revealing the single's name as "The Feels", set to release on October 1.[20]
On August 18, JYPE announced that Jeongyeon would be taking another hiatus due to panic and psychological anxiety.[21]
On October 1, TWICE revealed at the end of "The Feels" music video that a 6th anniversary celebration week will happen the same month. TWICE will release their third full-length album on November. Their 4th tour is coming soon to promote the album.[22] On October 8, it was announced that third full-length album Formula of Love: O+T=<3 will be released on November 12.[23]
On December 15, the group will release their ninth Japanese single "Doughnut".
